Editorial policy

Sponsored features should still help travelers make better decisions.

NPCabins can be owner-friendly and traveler-first at the same time. The site labels paid placements, keeps practical details in the copy, and avoids hiding tradeoffs.

Disclosure

Paid placements are labeled.

Sponsored profiles, hosted stays, affiliate links, and guide sponsorships should be identified on the page where they appear.

Standards

Features must include practical stay context.

Features should include who the stay is best for, who it is not best for, park or gateway context, booking checklist items, and details travelers should confirm.

Research method

A desk guide is not a field review.

AI-assisted tools may help organize official sources and draft research-led guides. That does not establish a firsthand visit, an owner-confirmed property fact, or a live road condition. Pages should identify their source and review date for changing park details; we label an on-site stay only when one actually occurred.

Hosted stays

Free stays must be disclosed.

When NPCabins receives a free or discounted stay, that relationship should be disclosed. Owners may correct facts, but editorial judgment stays with NPCabins.

Review labels

We say what kind of reporting supports a cabin story.

An editorial listing review is based on owner-approved listing materials and is not presented as an on-site stay. A hosted-stay review follows an explicitly disclosed free or discounted visit. A field review is based on firsthand reporting funded independently by NPCabins.

Corrections

Facts can be updated.

Cabin details, park rules, fees, reservations, and road conditions change. Readers and owners can send corrections for review.
